Terms & Shipping

(The boring but important stuff)

Quick Timeline Information:

Estimated manufacturing & packaging time - 14 days

Delivery (within the UK) - 2-5 days

Delivery (International) - 1-3 weeks

EU Customers:

Please be aware that there may be customs and imports charges added as parcels pass through borders. We do our best on our end to supply all the information required to border control but on rare occasions we do hear from customers that they have been charged for handling fees.

USA Customers

We are currently working with a new delivery company to bring parcels to the US. Due to the changes in rules around the De Minimis, we are now charging 10% tariffs at checkout whilst our shipping provider requires the duties to be paid in advance. This system is still in it’s early stages and may need to have any issues ironed out with US customs yet. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are concerned about your parcel in customs.

Roll Table For 2:

We are experiencing longer than usual timelines for this item at present, but will update if the situation changes. These games are made to order.

Thank you so much for shopping with us at Fightsandfancy.co.uk. You’re helping to support a small business in reaching it’s dreams and it’s very important to us that you are 100% happy with your purchase.

If, however, you find yourself not entirely satisfied with your purchase please get in touch with us as soon as possible via our contact us page and we will do whatever we can to help you out.

We have answered some important questions below and written a small bit about our privacy policy but if you cannot find your answers we’re always happy to answer any queries you have.

I have placed an order with you and wish to cancel or amend it, what can I do?

The sooner that you get in touch with us the more that we will be able to do to help you, so please reach out to us as quickly as possible.

If your item has not yet been shipped and you need to make an amendment to any of the item variations (colours, sizes, etc) we’re happy to accommodate however we won’t be able to do anything if the item has already been shipped. If the wrong variation affects your enjoyability of the product you can follow our ‘returns/exchanges’ policy in order to get the correct product for you once the incorrect items have arrived.

If you item has not yet been shipped and you need to make an amendment to the shipping information it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you get in contact with us as soon as possible as once the item is dispatched we will be unable to recall it. We are still happy to try and help you out as much as we can but the sooner the better, please get in touch.

If your item has not been shipped and you need to cancel the order, all you need to do is contact us within 14 days of the purchase and we will cancel the order for you. If the order is currently in the mail then we will need you to follow our returns policy before we can refund you for the order.

Digital Items are unfortunately exempt from our cancellation policy, if you have any issues regarding the use or access of the digital files please let us know and we’ll help you out.

Shipping my order?

Items ordered will be dispatched as soon as reasonably possible. Currently, we are working on a 7 to 14 working day turn-around period, which means you should receive your shipping notification from us within a fortnight of purchase. Bank Holidays will interfere with the drop off process of parcels occasionally. Until the shipping has been purchased by us your order will appear as ‘Pending’.

On purchase you will be given options for your shipping price. We offer Tracked shipping worldwide, which is at a flat rate of £16 for international orders and £3 for UK orders.

Shipping times vary from country to country, however UK deliveries should aim to arrive within 2 - 5 business days and international deliveries within 7 to 21 business days. There may be additional delays depending on the current climate.

IF you are ordering your parcel for a special occasion or holiday we are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery in time for a set date. This is due to delays that can happen within transit and the delivery process that are completely out of our hands. We recommend buying as early as possible for any events you have coming up.

If 30 days have passed and you have not received your order or if you have any worries, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we can look into this for you.

Delayed, Lost or Misrouted order?

If you think your order had been unfairly delayed or lost by our delivery services we will happily discuss with you how we can rectify this (eg. Refund, re-sending the order or some other means of compensation)

How do I return a purchase for a full refund?

In the unfortunate occasion that you wish to return your purchase for a full refund, please contact us via our form right away, let us know you are returning the product and we will keep an eye out for it.

After receiving the item you have 30 calendar days to return any items.

For an eligible refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. If you believe your item was damaged in transit then please provide images for us as soon as possible when talking to us so we can make amendments to our packing methods or alert our delivery providers.

Your returned item must then be sent back to us by signed and tacked delivery, this will help both us and you confirm the item’s arrival back with us and keep the process for your refund as smooth as possible. You will be responsible for the cost of non-faulty products.

Any Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once the item is back with us we will immediately notify you of the status of your refund and the process involved with this. Depending on your payment method, the refund should be available back with you within 3-5 business days.

I have received my purchase but there is a fault or defect, what do I do?

If you believe your product is faulty or has any hindering defects (keeping in mind these items are hand made) please get in touch with us right away via our contact us page with photos of the problem.

After receiving your items you have 14 days to notify us of any faults or defects.

Depending on the defect or issue we will then discuss with you the best solution to your problem and hopefully provide you with a replacement, or alternatively a refund.

What’s the status of my order/return/refund/cancellation or amendment?

If you require updated information on the status of any query please just get in touch with us using your preferred method and we will reply as soon as possible.

What information do we collect?

Cookies

A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a Web site, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each Web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a Web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

Browsers are usually set to accept cookies. However, if you would prefer not to receive cookies, you may alter the configuration of your browser to refuse cookies. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, it is possible that some areas of our site will not function as effectively when viewed by the users. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive or pass on computer viruses. Some of the cookies used by our site are provided by well-known third party companies, e.g. Google.

We keep only the minimum necessary to process your orders and retain an order history. All website payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal  and are are subject to their own Privacy Policy, which meets relevant legal requirements. We NEVER see or store your card information.

IP Addresses.

IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer. IP addresses are automatically collected by our web server as part of demographic and profile data known as traffic data so that data (such as the Web pages you request) can be sent to you.

What do we do with the information that we collect?

WE WILL NEVER PASS OR SELL ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTY MARKETING AGENCIES. We will only pass your details on to another party under the following circumstances:

·         If legally required to do so (e.g. if the police or HMRC insist that we do so).

·         If required in order to process orders placed on our site, e.g. your name and address may be passed to the companies processing your payment (although we never see any credit/debit card information you may enter on their sites)

·         If a Paypal, credit or debit card payment is disputed or reversed, in which case we may give information to our payment processor to resolve the issue, or (if we believe we are subject to fraud) to the police or courts.

·         To our couriers (where applicable) in order for them to facilitate deliveries to you.

·         We will only hold onto personal information about you which is neccessary to process your orders or required for tax or legal reasons.

·         We may use limited personal information (names, email addresses etc) on an opt-in basis to conduct marketing campaigns. We will not pass your information to external advertising agencies, although we may use third party software to generate email newsletters, and if we send you marketing emails we will always include an option to unsubscribe. This is intended to enable us to optimise our advertising. In such cases, we are the Data Controller, and these companies are the Data processor; we will make every reasonable effort to ensure that they meet the requirements of current data protection legislation.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may request access to all your personally identifiable information (a “Subject Access Request”) that we collect online and maintain in our database by contacting us by letter, email or using the “Contact us” form on our website. In accordance with GDPR legislation, we levy a £10 charge for processing a Subject Access Request, although we may at our discretion waive this charge for requests which only take a short time to process. We undertake to respond to all such requests within 40 days of the date we receive (or agree to waive) the processing fee and also receive any further information we request from you (e.g. proof of identity in order to satisfy ourselves that we aren’t inadverently passing your data to an unauthorised party).

Requesting Erasure of Your Information

Under Article 17 of the General data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you have the right to request we erase your personal data (your “Right to be Forgotten”). You can submit such a request to us by letter or email, and we are happy to comply within the required 30 day time limit. Please note that we are permitted to request additional information to confirm your identity, which will of course then be deleted as part of the erasure request. There are a few exceptions under which we can reject such a request; full details can be found in the regulations, but the most notable are that a request can be rejected if it affects the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority, or to comply with a legal obligation. Please note that if you request erasure of your data, the process will include closing any accounts you may hold with us. Should you place any orders with us at a future date, we may not be able to process them and if we do it will result in the creation of new data. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for repeated data erasure requests, as allowed for by the GDPR.
